Our growing and top rated ad agency is searching for a Social Media Strategist to drive and implement the social media strategy across a major automotive group. The Social Media Strategist would report to the Digital Content Director and work with the content team and client to best implement social media plans. Candidates should be located in the Greenville, SC area.
- Remote (e.g., work from home); some travel required
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Creating and executing social media strategies - with a team to help
- Preparing and delivering effective monthly reports for clients. These reports should prove ROI and/or the efforts of an effective social media strategy
- Presenting and conveying social strategy to Accounts Team and/or Client
- Researching and utilizing new social tools or trends
- Managing clients’ online reputation
- Updating agency of client success stories and social media best practices
- Training internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
- Occasional in-person meetings with client
Qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in social media and content creation
- Advanced knowledge of all social platforms and analytics
- Ability to identify preferred audiences and content for those audiences
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
- Creative and resourceful with the ability to work under quick deadlines
- Strong handle on basic design best practices
- Automotive experience preferred but not required
- Agency experience preferred but not required
