Account Manager

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

The individual will work closely with all agency personnel in planning, analyzing, and maintaining client accounts while also communicating directly with clients, as directed by the Account Executive.

Essential Duties

  • Coordination with agency members to plan and implement integrated campaigns including TV, radio, print, online video, digital, etc…
  • Managing broadcast projects (television, radio, online video, etc..) & online projects (banners, email, social, etc..)
  • Work with internal departments to implement & manage projects
  • Daily client communication on assigned accounts
  • Preparing meeting material for assigned accounts
  • Fact-checking for accuracy on all production assets and coordinating with the client for approval
  • Managing client budgets
  • Attending meetings & distributing/managing any action items
  • Reviewing, analyzing & communicating traditional and digital media results, sales, optimizations, etc…
  • Competitive research as requested

Job Description:

We’re looking for a talented Search Engine Marketing Strategist/Analyst to plan and execute paid search strategies and tactics for a group of clients.  This position will work with the Digital Media and Account Management departments to increase the online presence and ROI for our clients while keeping the agency and clients updated on paid search changes, best practices, etc. The right candidate will be both proactive and reactive with client SEM accounts.  This position will be a lead position within the SEM team and will report to the Director of Search Engine Marketing.

This position will provide SEM execution with specific responsibilities and experiences including:

  • Keyword and competitive research for paid search campaigns
  • Creation, implementation, tracking, analyzing, and optimizing paid search campaigns in Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, Bing, and other search engines.
  • Analyzing and on-going optimization of bids, ad copy, and landing pages to maximize paid search effectiveness
  • Setting and managing expectations of client and internal teams
  • Forecasting new business opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal teams on projects with performance and budget goals
  • Advanced experience in working in and managing bid optimization platforms (Dart Search, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.)
  • Providing detailed analysis of key metrics and program tracking techniques in order to increase overall search performance efficiency
  • Keeping abreast of SEM tools, trends, tactics, and strategies
  • Contributing to the growth and development of fellow colleagues and the company

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Math, Communications, or related field or relevant experience
  • 3-5+ years experience in paid search tactics and implementation.
  • Specific knowledge of major search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, Bing, and others
  • Experience with website analysis tools (Google Analytics, Moz, etc) and keyword tools (Google, etc)
  • Up-to-date on latest paid search changes and industry practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with automotive clients not required
  • Google Adwords and/or MSN Adcenter Qualifications
